Ambassador Emad Hanna received a group of academics participating in private and public international law courses organized by the Hague Academy of International Law. The delegation, representing various nationalities, was hosted as part of the Embassy’s commitment to strengthening ties with Dutch and international academic institutions.
During the meeting, the Ambassador highlighted Egypt’s pivotal role in supporting regional and international peace and security. He underscored Egypt’s extensive efforts in addressing Middle East crises, particularly the situation in the Gaza Strip and the intensive diplomatic endeavors undertaken by Egypt in this regard.
The Ambassador also discussed the Embassy’s mission in The Hague, focusing on enhancing bilateral relations with the Netherlands, protecting the interests of the Egyptian community, and collaborating with international courts and organizations based in the city.
Furthermore, the meeting addressed Egypt’s stance on various regional and international issues, including developments in the Middle East and the Horn of Africa. Ambassador Hanna presented the Egyptian vision for crisis resolution in accordance with the United Nations Charter, while highlighting the significant burdens Egypt bears as a result of these regional challenges.
