The UAE Journalists Association has signed a cooperation agreement with the International Press and Media Organization (IPMO), headquartered in the Netherlands, to launch specialized training programs in international media. The initiative aims to develop highly qualified journalistic professionals in line with the highest global standards, contributing to stronger representation of Arab media on the international stage.

The agreement was signed at the Association’s headquarters in Dubai by Her Excellency Fadila Al Muaini, Chairperson of the Board of Directors of the UAE Journalists Association, and His Excellency Dr. Khaled Bekdash, President of IPMO. The signing ceremony was attended by His Excellency Sultan Al Hosani, Secretary-General of the organization, along with a distinguished group of media leaders and journalists.

She noted that the partnership will enhance the readiness of media professionals to keep pace with rapid transformations in the global media landscape and strengthen their active presence at the international level.

For his part, His Excellency Dr. Khaled Bekdash stated that such international partnerships extend beyond training journalists in the Middle East. They play a direct role in repositioning Arab journalism to its rightful standing alongside leading global media institutions, elevating standards of factual reporting with high professionalism, reinforcing credibility, and effectively countering digital manipulation and media misinformation.
